I take you on a tour of 12 beautiful English gardens. The gardens are located in the picturesque English village of Caldy on the Wirral Peninsula alongside the River Dee Estuary in the North West of England. The gardens are open to the public for one day each year. This year the open gardens was held on Sunday 22nd May 2022 as part of the 'Caldy Open Gardens' in support of the chosen charity 'Koala North West'. England. The natural stone in this area is sandstone, so many of the gardens have a natural sandy soil. The area benefits from the warming Gulf Stream which travels year round, across the Atlantic Ocean from The Caribbean and, along with the warming South-Westerly winds, laps the coasts of Britain. This has quite a warming effect on Britain and particularly the West Coast; so the area - despite its Northerly latitude, is USDA Zone 9a.
