Hundreds rallied in Washington DC to mark the first anniversary of the US Supreme Court’s decision to overturn the Roe v. Wade law. They marched through the streets of the capital with banners and signs, and heard speeches in front of the US Capitol, one denouncing ‘the violation of the civil rights of women, and the violation of women’s health.’ A year ago, the Supreme Court overturned the 1973 Roe v. Wade landmark decision, which guaranteed a US-wide right to an abortion.
