Links to all equipment and accessories I use at the bottom of this description. There are two ways of approaching this study. You can either play it amim or as Carcassi probably intended, mipi. Either way it's a great exercise, amim will help you develop independence between a and m during rapid arpeggios, Carcassi's way challenges the control of the right hand thumb. This is the way I play the study, it's easier to play at a faster tempo but you have to take care to play a strong bass note with the thumb followed by a weaker arpeggio note with the thumb. Complicated but great for awareness of volumes etc. Hope
