Nintendo 3DS Unboxing TechnoBuffalo: The Nintendo 3DS is finally upon us, and while you can't exactly call it the first portable 3D gaming system (Hello, Virtual Boy!), it definitely looks like this will be the most successful one yet. The pre-orders alone passed those for the Nintendo Wii, so it seems a lock that the 3DS will go on to be pretty successful. Thus far the Nintendo 3DS is only available in aqua blue and black, although we are sure more colors will appear down the road. We've got a black one for your unboxing viewing, and while there isn't a whole lot of surprises to be had in the actual box, the device does feel surprisingly light. Considering how much tech is packed into this thing, kudos to the folks at Nintendo! Also worthy of being noted is that it is backwards compatible with the DSi and DS, so you won't have a pile of old games laying around that are now useless to you. Always a good thing when companies keep this in mind when building a new platform. What do you think? Is the 3DS worth your time and money? Be sure to also let us know in our 3DS poll!
