Berliners Warned To Stay Inside As Lion Loose In German Capital Berlin police have launched an operation to locate a wild animal, believed to be an escaped lion, on the south-western edge of the city. The search, involving two helicopters and a hundred officers, expanded to Brandenburg municipalities of Kleinmachnow and Stahnsdorf. While authorities warned locals to stay indoors and keep pets safe, the origin of the animal remains unclear, as no zoos or circuses in the area have reported any missing lions.
