- I am still burned out. End of the year is a challenging one - so many things to do, so many deadlines to meet, so many celebrations and family gatherings to go through. Also the expectation of being your most productive, most joyful, most perfect self while dealing with so many things at the same time. I took some time off and tried to find a few things that helped me with my struggles. Not gonna lie, it's been hectic and difficult with family visits, getting over a cold and work. But I think I found some things that help. ------- Yule log recipe (with some adjustments below): My adjustments: - I didn't make any hazelnut praline as I didn't have nuts at hand that day. - I didn't separate eggs and just whisked them together with sugar until light and creamy (hence I also skipped on cream of tartar ingredient). - Added 75g of flour instead of 50g as I found that 50g was too little.
