Brussels is threatening to take legal action against Poland, Hungary and Slovakia over their unilateral bans on Ukrainian grain imports, though it still intends to defend the member states in the lawsuit filed by Kiev with the World Trade Organization. We hear from economist Eike Hamer, who says the EU’s hardening stance on the grain-import ban shows its growing control over member states.
