Ethiopian Runners' Training Off-Season

What makes Ethiopia's runners so special? I don't know but these calisthenics during the off-season (rainy season) can't hurt! One of the runners told me they do this for up to two hours at a time. I found this group at Meskel Square in Addis Ababa, watched them for at least 40 minutes, and every exercise they did was different. These must really aid in building flexibility and core strength. Also, check out how much they are on their toes during these exercises. Amazing!
