Saving the New Year in Siberia

This film is the result of cooperation between the Interregional Educational Center of High Medical Technologies of Novosibirsk State Medical University and the Head Department of the MES of Novosibirsk region (Russia). Emergency procedures are simulated on a fire victim suffering from carbon monoxide poisoning in a large apartment building. During filming, a human training simulator manufactured by METI is used. The purpose of this film is to show how emergency responders and doctors cooperate to save the life of a fire victim at the scene of an emergency, before sending the victim to the hospital. This video was recorded on the eve of the New Year, showing Grandfather Frost, a Russian symbol very similar to Santa Claus.
