oh fatespeaker man do i have some feelings about you i never really liked her in canon, i always found her persistent cheerfulness and insistence that she has visions a bit annoying, but i really do like the idea of her character and to be absolutely honest i like the portrayal of her in the fanon better than the canon version of her; everyone’s headcanons and ideas for her character are super cool and much more realistic and fleshed out than in the actual books. i do wish she had been written better, because she is an interesting character. her vision coping mechanisms, her refusal to acknowledge that her “friends” really hate her, the fact that she knows that she’s just a replacement for starflight; it’s all quite sad when you think about it and i wish she had been written better because tui really could have done something interesting with her character rather than have her be sunny#2 (because to be honest that is a bit what she feels like shes supposed to be, just another sunny rather than he
