On this overcast summer day, we start at Wassen, Central Switzerland, and climb over the Sustenpass, one of the most beautiful passes in the Swiss Alps. From our starting point at 900 m elevation, we reach the higher elevations through rough-hewn rock tunnels and with vistas of glaciers around us. Once we reach the top of the Sustenpass at 2260 m elevation, we enjoy one of the most scenic descents in all of the Alps. We pass the Aareschlucht, traverse the town of Meiringen and final climb the Bruenig-Pass to finish this ride.
