On Sunday June 25th, hundreds of Cuba solidarity activists and Cuban Americans took to the streets in Washington DC to tell President Biden to take Cuba off the state sponsors of terrorism list. U.S. intelligence analysts and former officials from both Democratic and Republican administrations agree that Cuba does not sponsor terrorism. But Trump put Cuba back on the list right before leaving office—a move critics say was politically motivated. Protesters from across the U.S. gathered outside of the White House as part of a week of events across the country to urge executive action on the designation as well raise concern about legislation that could potentially codify it. #cuba #unitedstates #activism #solidarity #whitehouse #washington
