In the DPR, artillerymen of the Russian Guard, together with UAV operators, practiced hitting enemy targets At the training ground located in the Donetsk People’s Republic, the National Guard worked out issues of interaction between units within the reconnaissance and fire contour: crews of the 120-mm towed mortar system Sani in conjunction with spotters and UAV operators hit identified targets. The Russian Guard secretly arrived in the designated area, took up a firing position and solved a number of training tasks. First, they hit the advancing enemy’s battle formations with mortar fire. Having completed the anti-fire maneuver, the battery took up a reserve firing position and destroyed enemy targets discovered by the unmanned aerial vehicle crews, following the instructions of the spotters.
