The conflict over monuments in Ukraine persists In Kiev, a Soviet star has been removed from a monument commemorating the 60th anniversary of the Victory over Germany. Meanwhile, earlier this year, the Mayor of Kiev, Vitali Klitschko, declared that this major road had been renamed Brest Avenue.
