A couple years ago, not long before moving to Miami, I was living in Boston. I was working for a rental house called LensProToGo whilst keeping up the freelance hustle and spending every weekend I could down in Providence with my pals Tobi and Cletus. For years Tobi has been building one of the most timelessly-perfect Mk1 VW Jetta Coupes in the world and one weekend I was lucky enough to get my hands on the [then-brand-new] Movi M5 gimbal, so we took it out for the weekend and shot a little short film. Then life got in the way, I found myself moving to Miami to begin working for Vossen, and before I knew it, all that footage we captured that one weekend back in 2014 was nothing more than files inside folders. After finally admitting that I wasn’t going to find time to experiment with editing myself, I handed off the footage to my pal, Anthony Delapaz (also the filmmaker for Vossen) and he whipped up just the perfect edit for the footage, paying tribute to our dearly-missed four-legged, floppy-eared friend, C
