Ian Collins reacts to breaking news that Slovakia Prime Minister Robert Fico has been shot and injured. Mr Fico was reportedly shot and injured as he greeted crowds in front of a cultural community centre in the town of Handlova, where a government meeting had been held. Mr Fico became prime minister for the third time after his party won Slovakia’s September 30 parliamentary elections, staging a political comeback after campaigning on a pro-Russian and anti-American message.
