M/S as one holds the cross up and they wade towards the side, it is handed to the clergyman and they all make their way up the bank. M/S of the men in their night-shirts looking very cold. Intertitle - 'the blessing of the troops concludes centuries' old custom.' M/S as the troops walk along, Prince Nicholas salutes to them. A clergyman throws incense or holy water towards them.
