A new round of talks to resolve the current Syrian conflict is due to be held in Vienna, on November 12. Foreign ministers from up to twenty participating countries are expected to agree on the necessity of respect for Syria's unity and sovereignty, as well a concerted effort to tackle the militant armed movements operating insurgencies against the Syrian government, such as the so-called Islamic State (IS/ISIS/ISIL) and Jahbat al-Nusra.
