Operation Sykes Hammer - Tal Afar, Iraq

August 1-4, 2004 - In what's called “Operation Sykes Hammer“, U.S. Soldiers with the Iraqi National Guard conduct joint patrols throughout the city of Tal Afar, Iraq in response to suspected anti-Iraqi forces that may have crossed the border from Syria and hid within the city. Scenes include performing weapon and insurgent searches, seizures, and detainments along with interacting with local residents including children.
