Artillerymen from the Center group of troops provided fire support to motorized rifles during the offensive in the Avdeevka direction Artillery crews of 122-mm D-30 howitzers of the motorized rifle formation of the Center group of troops destroyed a camouflaged stronghold of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, providing fire support for the advance of motorized rifles in the Avdeevka direction. The shooting, adjusted by reconnaissance units and unmanned aerial aircraft crews, was carried out from a closed firing position with high-explosive fragmentation shells at an enemy stronghold camouflaged in a broken building at a distance of up to 15 km. After hitting the targets, the crews camouflaged the guns and took refuge in dugouts. The mobility of the D-30 howitzer allows, if necessary, to conduct counter-fire maneuvers and quickly change firing positions.
