How fast is the new BMW M8 Competition Coupe? Well, that depends on who you ask, but the German car firm would tell you that it needs precisely 3.2 seconds to sprint to 62 mph (100 km/h) and will max out at up to 190 mph (305 km/h) with the optional M Driver’s Package. Others have clocked it at seconds for the 0-62 mph (0-100 km/h) sprint, but Manhart claims that their tuned example will do it in a neck-snapping 2.6 seconds. From 62 to 124 mph (100-200 km/h), the super GT apparently needs only 5.7 seconds, According to Manhart at least, this makes it “the fastest M8 Competition in the world”. To achieve this performance, the tuner has unlocked 811 HP (823 PS / 605 kW) and 774 lb-ft (1,050 Nm) from the twin-turbo V8 by equipping it with a new turbocharger kit and intercooler and revising the software of the ECU. In case you need reminding, the stock M8 Competition Coupe comes with 616 HP (625 PS / 460 kW) and 553 lb-ft (750 Nm), channeling it to the all-wheel drive system via an 8-speed automat
