Streets flooded with sewage today in Karachi, Pakistan July 11 2022

A week of rain has caused continued flooding in Karachi, Pakistan today, July 11th 2022. Record rainfall has seen flash floods throughout the city. Sewage has filled the streets as sewers become blocked. Power cuts have been seen throughout the city as electrical cables are damaged. Transport is impossible in many areas, with roads turned into rivers. Homes have been destroyed, with shelters in place to help those affected. These floods continue a month of dangerous floods across Pakistan, including in Balochistan. Further flooding is expected as monsoon rains continue to hit.
