What is KyoAni’s style? Unless you just started watching anime two days ago, you’ve heard of KyoAni. Usually when the studio is brought up, there’s a certain word that follows shortly thereafter: moe. Love it or hate it, KyoAni’s formula has made them one of the most successful studios in the industry, but what exactly is that formula? Today, under the scope, I take an analytical look at what makes Kyoto Animation work.
