My transfer of the original 78 rpm record, a truly fine early electrical recording. If you listen carefully with headphones, you can hear the great man humming with the music. Re-equalisation and click/pop removal – no noise filtering applied Noise filtering in 78 rpm should not be applied, or as little as possible. The ear adjusts to the surface noise easily. This results in a more vibrant sound and more reward from these unique historical recordings. I recommend listening with good headphones I have a very large collection of 78 rpm records.
