No power, no generator, no problem! Simply use a coffee percolator to get your caffeine fix. You will of course need some type of heat source. For me that’s a campstove. Use whatever you have. Even a small fire will work great. I often use a coffee percolator at my rural hunting property that has no electricity. How to use percolators: 1. Fill your pot with water to just below the holes inside the spout - about 1 quart usually. 2. Use 1-2 Tbs. of coffee per cup of water. Suit it to your own taste. 3. Place the coffee grounds into the basket before assembling the parts. This keeps coffee grounds out of your pot. 4. Put the basket lid on 5. Insert the stem 6. Carefully slide the assembly into the pre-filled pot 7. Finally top the whole thing off with the coffee pot lid 8. Place the pot over a heat source and allow time for the water to perk 9. You can tell the water is perking when you see bubbling water activity inside the clear bulb on the lid. Once the water starts to perk, it will be popping in the clear indicator bulb. If you don’t have the see-through bulb on your percolator, simply remove the lid to check if the water is bubbling out of the stem or not. 10. I usually turn the heat down a bit after it starts to perk. Total time should be 10-15 minutes. Basically, you want to bring the coffee to a perk and then let it go another 7 to 10 minutes. Let it go until you get to the color that you prefer. 11. Pour and enjoy! #shorts Music: Morning Musician: LiQWYD
