A bill to ban public drag shows has been introduced in Ohio. If passed, it will prohibit drag performances everywhere but adult cabarets. Just a few US states have passed the laws banning drag queens from performing in front of children. In the meanwhile, more footage of inappropriate dancing and kids watching has appeared on social networks. It gets thousands of angry comments, but hardly anybody makes decisive steps. The subjects of our documentary, ‘Pride and Piety’, try to fight LGBTQ propaganda on their own. They preach on the streets and near the churches, trying to convince people that this popular ’entertainment’ is in fact harming children.
