Star Trek has always been an important influence on my life and I've always wanted to make a video like this and join the Star Trek fandom's vibrant fanvid community. This video is about one of my favorite aspects of Star Trek: the character speeches. I grew up on Jean-Luc Picard's monologues and each year older I get, I find new, deeper truths in them. Each series is enriched with speeches like this that speak to each of us in a unique way.
