Today the Greek language is studied in seven schools in Crimea. Since 2015, the Greek language has been actively studied in schools in Crimea as a native language or as a second foreign language at will. The history of Crimean Peninsula and mythology are taught in the language of Homer. All necessary books and textbooks are available. Electronic aids are also used in the process of studying. The Vernadsky Crimean Federal University has a department of the New Greek language. About 10 teachers graduate annually from there. The newspaper “Tavrika“ is published. Russia has always been the multi-cultural country where all ethnic groups can speak their native language and keep their culture and traditions.
