Moreover, it showcases trophies, rarely seen pictures, film footages, and much more. About the Speaker: Alice Kamps joined the National Archives as a curator in 2009. Entrusted with the responsibility of developing exhibitions for the National Archives Museum’s permanent and temporary galleries in Washington D.C., her work graces the eyes of over a million visitors each year. Before her tenure at the National Archives, Ms. Kamps freelanced as an exhibit developer in Chicago, orchestrating exhibitions for renowned entities like Shedd Aquarium, The Field Museum of Natural History, and the Ten Chimneys Foundation in Wisconsin. The genesis of her museum career can be traced back to the Chicago Children’s Museum. She also served as a visiting artist for the Chicago Public Schools via Art Resources in Teaching. Her academic accolades include a Bachelor’s in Fine Arts from the University of Wisconsin, Madison, and a Master’s in Art Therapy from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago.
