Before her tenure at the National Archives, Ms. Kamps freelanced as an exhibit developer in Chicago, orchestrating exhibitions for renowned entities like Shedd Aquarium, The Field Museum of Natural History, and the Ten Chimneys Foundation in Wisconsin. The genesis of her museum career can be traced back to the Chicago Children’s Museum. She also served as a visiting artist for the Chicago Public Schools via Art Resources in Teaching. Her academic accolades include a Bachelor’s in Fine Arts from the University of Wisconsin, Madison, and a Master’s in Art Therapy from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago.
