Surely it would take a mental toll on a person. It seems that some would break under these conditions and others wouldn't. Those that broke, perhaps, would never leave. Such a place we're discussing today is the Seguin island lighthouse, located in Maine. Seguin Light is a lighthouse on Seguin Island, in the Gulf of Maine south of the mouth of the Kennebec River, Maine. Established in 1795, it is the second-oldest of Maine's coastal lighthouses, and the only lighthouse in the state housing a first-order Fresnel lens.
