June Preisser was a dancer and actress who began performing on stage at the age of seven. She was part of a dancing act with her sister, Cherry Blossom, called The Preisser Sisters. They played in vaudeville and later for the Ziegfeld Follies in 1934 and 1936. When Cherry retired to start a family, June began acting in films. She was in such films as Babes in Arms (1939) and Strike Up the Band (1940). She is probably most famous for the seven Teen-Agers films she starred in from 1946 to 1948.
