Originally, Kovu and Kiara were supposed to be shown running and laughing when they return to the Pride Lands to unite the Pridelanders and the Outsiders. This moment was SOOOO cute between why TF did they scrap it 😭😭 You know what? Screw it: In my headcanon, they DID race back, and Kovu won and spent the next few weeks bragging about it to Kion when he came back. I don’t own The Lion King (glares at Hamlet /j)
