Taken from “Last“ LP: / Free Download: “Three months into work on an animated music video for the single Burrow, I couldn’t handle the slow progress and the hours spent at the computer, so I tore it up and decided to start afresh with a new concept two months before the release was due. We didn’t want to act in anything ourselves, so we settled on the idea of making a marionette; which gave us just a few weeks to make it and film. I told our old bassist Hugo my plans, and he brought a bunch of vintage marionettes up from his basement. We picked one and went about stripping and decapitating it. We cut some wood from a fallen branch in a friend’s garden, which I carved into Louis’ face (we gave him a French name as the wood for his head came from french speaking Belgium).
