Here are the ingredients you'll need: Ingredients: Water as required 1/2 tsp baking soda 4.5 cup (450gm) All purpose flour 1 tsp salt Melted ghee Instructions: In a mixing bowl, add the water and baking soda and mix well. Gradually add the flour and salt to the mixture and knead for 6-8 minutes until the dough is smooth and elastic. Cover the dough and let it rest for 15 minutes. Divide the dough into 8 equal parts. Roll each part of the dough into a ball and let it rest for another 15 minutes. Preheat a pan on medium heat. Take one of the dough balls and roll it out into a thin, round shape. Apply some melted ghee on the rolled-out dough. Cut the rolled-out dough into long strips, leaving a small strip uncut at the top. Roll the strips tightly into a spiral, like a cinnamon roll, and tuck the uncut end underneath. Flatten the spiral gently and roll it out again into a thin, round shape. Place the rolled-out dough on the preheated pan and cook for 1-2 minutes until it starts to puff up. Flip the paratha and cook for another 1-2 minutes on the other side. Remove the paratha from the pan and apply some more melted ghee on it. Repeat the process with the remaining dough balls. Serve your delicious lachha paratha with your favorite curry or dish.
