RIP Vangelis - The original source video was an NTSC 480i but 4:3 Letterboxed widescreen so effectively 360i - Luckily the sound was raw stereo PCM 48000 converted to 256kbps AAC-HE FDK for upload so this version is as near to original quality as youtube will allow - No AI processing on the video was used, just an ffmpeg yadif deinterlace, 4 way border crop and a lanczos rescale to 1080p - QI: manually switch from 1080p60 to 360p and look at the smoothness difference, especially on the conductors baton - In case anyone's interested, the command I created for an all-in-one conversion was: -i %1 -c:v libx264 -preset medium -crf 26 -vf yadif=1,crop=in_w-8-6:in_h-62-62:8:62,colormatrix=bt601:bt709,scale=1920x1080:interl=1:flags=lanczos,setsar=1:1 -c:a libfdk_aac -profile:a aac_he -b:a 256k % - You will need to build your own ffmpeg with the libfdk_aac included to use the only aac codec i've found that doesn't sound awful!
