Decided to make what should be an “easy“ project more difficult ? I did. 😂 Today, I attempt to pull a sewing pattern from one of my original Victorian/Edwardian bodices, using two different methods, one of which is taken from an 1890s dressmaking manual. It wasn’t easy, but I do think mixing the methods with some good ol’ fashioned measuring and plotting on graph paper will result in a workable sewing pattern in the future. I’m planning on sewing both of these patterns up into quick mock-ups to see how the patterns compare to the original Victorian bodice, probably in the next month or so - so stay tuned! 🥳Socials Instagram: Patreon: 📚Articles: How to Cut, Finish, and Finish a Dress by Madame Löfvall: Duplicate Your Existing Clothes via Instructables: 🧰Tools & Materials I Used in the Video: Marking Paper: Glass head Clover Pins via Wawak: Rulers/Curves: Via Amazon: 📸My Video Kit: Sony ZV-1: Canon M50: 22mm Prime Lens: 🥳Socials Instagram: Patreon: 💌Business Inquiries *ONLY* abbycox@ (This email goes directly to my management and not to me.) 🎶Music via Epidemic Sound () **I am a participant in the Amazon Services LLC Associates Program, an affiliate advertising program designed to provide a means for me to earn fees by linking to and affiliated sites.
