Vladimir Zelensky has sacked Ukraine’s Air Force Commander as Kiev has confirmed the loss of its first F-16 fighter jet. A Ukrainian MP claims the jet was shot down by America’s Patriot defense system. Aviation expert Cyrille de Lattre suggests that friendly fire is likely responsible for the incident, as Ukrainian troops struggle to operate the diverse range of Western weaponry at their disposal.
