The third release and debut album of this French duo. A record that due to the sizable length is able to give a good array of branches of black metal, some more harmonious and epic, others slightly fused with death metal, or bringing a mediaeval flavour, or the liturgical track to St. Jeanne D’Arc or even the vindictively lo-fi viciously fast ones as the last tracks. Nonetheless, whichever formula you prefer in black metal, there is an undeniable quality in this record that picked this historical fact (Hundred Years' War) and re-enact it in such fabulous black metal standards.
