In this video, I present to you the original tablet of the text known as “Enki and Ninmah“ and explore the possibility of evidence for genetic engineering in the creation of human beings. The text of “Enki and Ninmah“ is archived at the Penn Museum and is titled “Creation of Man.“ It was written between 1900 and 1600 BCE, making it older than the presumed date of the writing of the Book of Genesis in the Hebrew Bible. This tablet is of great importance and is explicitly mentioned to have parallels with the Bible. The mythological account within the tablets is divided into two parts. The first part focuses on the creation of mankind, with Enki and Ninmah molding the bodies of men and women using clay from the earth. The second part revolves around a competition between Enki and Ninmah, where they create humans with various disabilities and illnesses.
