Charmed's third season ended on a cliff hanger, with all three Halliwell sisters facing certain death. Rumours abounded that on-set tension was too much to ignore, meaning one sister wouldn't be coming back for the fourth season. Shannen Doherty was the one that left, Prue never to be seen again.
