London. Various shots of a recording or live transmission of the popular radio show 'Much Binding In The Marsh'. Shots of the audience. Producer Leslie Bridgemont sits at the control panel. Knobs are twiddled while we hear music (the theme tune?), then Leslie gives the signal for the actors to start. Natural sound sequence as we see actors Richard 'Stinker' Murdoch and Kenneth Horne standing at the microphone and reading from the script. They seem to be running away from a man and get into a bulldozer. Brief shots of sound effects girl and man doing their stuff. They are joined by Maurice Denham as Mr Blake (?) - the gardener - after they run into his greenhouse. They scoop some earth with the bulldozer and come across Sam Costa who tells a funny story about finding Roman graffiti. Mrs Larkin appears (actress not recognised) and calls for her husband, Fred, played by Denham. Brief shots of the audience laughing. Final shot shows the audience applauding.
