The goal of this remix was to recapture the high energy of The Beatles' 1963 mono recording of Chuck Berry's 'Roll Over Beethoven,' which was lost in the stereo versions, including the official 2023 remix. I used that remix as the source for this new 2024 version. To achieve this, I centered George Harrison's lead guitar, positioning it in the same location as his superb lead vocal, whereas the 2023 remix placed it awkwardly off-center, preventing it from fully interacting with the other instruments. I also doubled the rhythm guitar, placing each track at opposite ends of the stereo field to create a better balance. These modifications contribute to a more cohesive and energized stereo mix.
