Russian President Vladimir Putin made an unannounced visit to Chechnya on Tuesday, marking his first trip to the region in nearly 13 years. The visit comes as Ukraine’s cross-border incursion into western Russia continues into its third week. Upon his arrival, Putin was greeted by Chechen leader Ramzan Kadyrov, who has positioned himself as a key ally of the Kremlin. During his visit, Putin toured a special forces academy that bears his name and met with volunteer fighters who train there before being deployed to Ukraine. In a speech to the volunteers, Putin praised their dedication and stated that as long as Russia has men like them, the country will remain “invincible.” #VladimPutin #Chechnya #UkraineConflict #Russia #russiaukrainewar #indiatoday #indiatodaynews Subscribe to India Today for NEW VIDEOS EVERY DAY and make sure to enable Push Notifications so you'll never miss a new video.
