After releasing their first full lenght as Vow Wow in 1984, the band went on tour to promote “Beat of Metal Motion“ and quickly returned to the studio from February until April 1985 to record his following album which will be released 1st June 1985 on vinyle and cassette and 20 July on CD through Eastworld as “Cyclone“. As for their previous record, Vow Vow still plays a mix between melodic hard rock and heavy metal, this album is heavy but with more melodic elements, more “pop“ and AOR synths, I guess some fans at the time enjoyed them and some other hated this, personnaly I love this. The production remains mostly 80's hard rock/heavy metal, there is something raw in it that I really enjoy. This album is one of my favourites from the band but for an unknown reason, this is the most expensive Vow Wow release at the moment, I had diffuclties to find one at a fair price, fortunately it was a mint copy but i have to admit that i'm not a fan of the reedition
