Miniseries aired on NBC 5/7,8,9,14,15/1978 Based on the novel by Arthur Hailey. The story is set in Detroit in late 1960s and centers on ths automobile industry, particularly the members of National Motors, a large automobile manufacturer. Lee Remick was casted after Elizabeth Taylor turned down $1 million salary , she stated that she loved Rock, but she didn’t want to do mini-series. Lee Remick was nominated for an Emmy for her role.
