In this final section I attempt to duplicate the oil painting style of modern day master Richard Schmid’s Atlantic Sentinel. Time lapsed shows the finishing techniques as performed by artist Michael Pintar. Includes scumbling, layering and brushwork for oil painting. Schmid is a master of precise control when he paints, never making a mark without a purpose.
