The Red Army reaches the outskirts of Berlin on April 20th 1945.. German Wermacht, Volkstrum, & SS Troops mount a tenacious defense in the opening phases of the Russian incursion.. Stalin’s armies mount a mighty rocket & artillery barrage, follwed shortly after by hard charging Red Guards, T-34’s, IS-2’s, & a venegeful parade of Soviet armour.. The Germans historically are overrun in this engagement & this is what occurs here.. However the warriors of the Third Reich wil not lay down their arms in the face of the bolshevik hoarde, there is only 2 ways home for the German... death of victory... Near the end of the clip beginning @ the 8:00 mark.. you will see a German SS Colonel with some panzertruppen whom have assembled some experimental weapons to defend againts the Red Tide.. The 1st Field Launched Guided Missles are deployed along with a kugelblitz.... these weapons lay down righteous attrition on the advancing russians, but in the end yes they are overrun & destro
