At the World Tour Team CCC we were able to watch mechanic Andy Wollny* building the new 2021 Giant TCR Advanced SL Disc for Matteo Trentin. The new frame is lighter, stiffer and more aerodynamic and has been developed as the ultimate all-round bike. With a frame weight (including seat dome) of only 798g Giant has one of the lightest, if not the lightest UCI approved frame in the range. The bike built here for Matteo Trentin weighs fully equipped with power meter, two bottle cages, race number holder, Garmin holder and Shimano SPD-SL pedals only . A small weight under the bottle cage brings the bike up to the 6.8 kg required by the UCI.
