Kitzingen, a town in the German state of Bavaria. Filmed by Lieut Byars of the US Seventh Army on 23 April 1945. L/S firing squad, US 7th Army soldiers are gathered in the Florian-Geyer athletic ground in Kitzingen. M/S as US officers led by a field grade officer and an Army Chaplain, escort German spy, Richard Jarczyk, from the Provost Marshall’s office. Jarczyk had confessed to sabotage and the killing of US soldiers, behind the lines. He is dressed in civilian clothes. An MP jeep is seen parked in front of a soccer net in background.
