This album exemplifies the current stage in Weeping Silence’s stylistic evolution - that might be best described as Melodic Metal with influences from Progressive and Death Metal. This opening track is about “Il-Ħares” a secretive and violently ill-tempered guardian spirit that watches over households and can provide gold coins or favours - in exchange for strict terms and conditions e.g. an adherence to a code of silence.
